I have an issue with the DNS entries with all CM builds for X3. I'm always losing the DNS entries and no address will resolve anymore until I either:
- add an entry to resolv.conf
- setprop net.dns1 8.8.8.8
This problem happens when switching from GSM Data to WiFi or back.
Sometimes WiFi refuses to start at all, it just shows 'error' underneath the menu item.
Another problem I'm having with this build is that I cannot change the theme: it gets reset after each boot to the 'system' one, so I cannot use the ICS theme or anything else.
Other than that I'm using the V6 supercharger script (seen also here on the forum) and everything is much better. Before that it sometimes took 3-5 seconds for the homescreen to appear, Winamp and DSPManager were always getting killed and starting navigation killed almost everything in the background. Now everything is running pretty smooth.
Other than that this ROM is running better then everything I've tested. I'm using the Xperia launcher, bundled SMS app, Viber, DSP Manager, ColorNote and bluetooth. These are things that are most of the time persistent in the memory unless something kills them, free memory is still at ~30MB.
Normal battery lifetime without data is about 4-5 days, with GPRS activated is about 2-3 days, some light levels were tweaked and 3G is almost always off. No overclocking, my X3 doesn't like it very much.
