Du brauchst ein spezielles USB-OTG Kabel. Das normale USB-Kabel reicht nicht. Beim USB-OTG Kabel dagegen sind PIN 4 und 5 auf der microUSB-Anschluss-Seite kurz geschlossen, damit der USB Host - in dem Fall das G615 - weiß, dass er als USB-Host dienen soll.

Tried this with an OTG cable an an active hub, works partielly for me. Mouse is working, I can see my usb stick in the file manager, but can't open it. Probably I need another file manager or root. Or both. Will try the next days.

Ich habe das mit einem OTG-Kabel und einem aktiven Hub ausprobiert, funktioniert bis jetzt teilweise. Die Maus funktioniert, den USB-Stick (beides am Hub eingesteckt) kann ich im Dateiexplorer sehen, da ist neben dem Lokal- und dem SD-Card-Reiter ein Reiter mit USB, aber wenn ich draufklicke, stürzt der Dateiexplorer ab, Fehlermeldung: Öffnen nicht möglich. Möglicherweise brauche ich einen anderen Dateiexplorer, oder Root-Zugriff, oder beides. Werde ich die Tage mal antesten.

deutsch: Das ist einfach ein ganz normales USB OTG Kabel z.b. Pure² High Speed OTG Datenkabel - Micro USB HOST Kabel: Amazon.de: Elektronik
Der microUSB Anschluss hat immer 5 Pins, nur dass beim USB OTG Kabel die Pins 4 und 5 als Masse angeschlossen sind. Beim normalen USB Kabel ist Pin 4 nicht verbunden.

The microUSB port has always 5 pins. Whereas the PIN 4 is not connected at the standard USB cable, at the USB OTG cable it is.

Yes, I did exactly as in the picture. Connected my Phone via an OTG-Cable to the powered hub. My mouse was already connected to the hub and I was able to use it on my phone. Then connected an USB stick to the hub. Thats all until now.

Ok. Rooted my phone and using ES Datei Explorer and StickMount. Everything is working, read/write from/to the stick, no problem. Only think is I don't know yet how to remove safe the stick. I can unmount it, no problem, but when I disconnect it from the hub there is an error: SD-Card removed unexpected.

Ok. Ich habe mein Telefon gerootet, und benutze ES Datei Explorer und StickMount, damit funktioniert alles prima, ich kann vom Stick lesen und darauf schreiben. Das einzige, was ich noch nicht gefunden habe, ist den Stick auszuwerfen. Ich kann ihn mit StickMount unmounten, aber wenn ich ihn dann aus dem Hub ziehe, quengelt das Telefon, ich hätte unerwartet die SD-Karte entfernt.

am i doing something wrong?
here is a picture of how i connected the blue cable is the otg cable whitch i connect to the phone.. i tried connecteing but the only thing that happens is phone starts to charge.. i tried connecting a usb keybored. or usb stick and still nothing. mouse shows its laser on the bottom but still no response. tried changing the otg cable and still doesnt work. cable does work on galaxy s2

Mache ich etwas falsch?
Hier ist ein Bild, wie ich das blaue Kabel angeschlossen ist die OTG whitch i eine Verbindung zum Telefon .. Ich habe versucht connecteing aber das einzige, was passiert ist, Telefon beginnt zu laden .. Ich habe versucht, den Anschluss eines USB-keybored. oder USB-Stick und immer noch nichts. Maus zeigt seine Laser auf dem Boden, aber immer noch keine Antwort. versucht, die Änderung der OTG und immer noch nicht funktioniert. Kabel funktioniert auf galaxy s2

I connected the otg cable with that usb connector that is normaly connected to the pc. I assume it is the one near the power connector? You normaly need a USB standard type B plug for this. Hope I could help.

Does the hub work when connected to a pc? Every powered hub should work for that.

I am also on 509, so it's the same rom.

Funktioniert des USB Hub wenn er mit dem PC verbunden ist? Jeder Hub mit eigener Stromversorgung sollte funktionieren.
Ich bin auch auf der B509, also ist es die gleiche ROM.

ok checked like this:
connected hub to elctristy + connected from the printer usb cable (near power area) to pc + connected my phone = computer doesnt reconize phone

i disconcted from from elctristy and connect just phone on the front and back usb (printer connection) near the power to the pc then phone gets reconzie and i can use it..

so i guess its the usb hub?
any hub you can suggest from ebay that i can buy and it will work?

ok so überprüft:
verbunden Nabe elctristy + angeschlossen vom Drucker USB-Kabel (in der Nähe von Strom-Bereich) an den PC angeschlossen + meinem Handy = Computer nicht reconize Telefon

i disconcted von elctristy aus und verbinden Sie nur telefonisch über die Vorder-und Rückseite usb (Drucker-Anschluss) in der Nähe der Macht an den PC dann bekommt reconzie Telefon, und ich kann es zu benutzen ..

also ich schätze sein Der USB-Hub?
einem Hub können Sie von ebay darauf hin, dass ich kaufen kann und es wird funktionieren?

looks alittle expensive for me. just to make usb otg work. i guess il try this usb hub any reasone this shouldnt work? (gonna problably buy it )
