NVIDIA haut das 20. Update für die Kiste raus! Immer noch eine klare Empfehlung, Support ist wirklich erste Sahne

Rollout läuft bereits, wurde hier so eben erfolgreich installiert.

WHAT'S NEW

• GeForce NOW on SHIELD (Requires update to latest NVIDIA Games app)
  • Adds in-game microphone support using SHIELD Controller via internal microphone or connecting a headset into

Positiv für mich in Verbindung mit der kürzlich aktualisierten Google App for Android TV ist, dass nun die Sprachsuche über meine alternative Fernbedienung wieder möglich ist.

Und für die Einbindung physikalischer Tastaturen und Auswahl der deutschen Sprache, kann man nun Apps wie den Keyboard Helper getrost deinstallieren. Selbst in Kodi sind jetzt zäüöß usw kein Problem mehr.

Jetzt fehlt nur noch die automatische Bildschirmfrequenzumschaltung und eine kontrastreichere Farbpalette bei den Farben für die Auswahlbalken.

Nun dafür das Nvidia die Konsole mit Gamepad anbietet finde ich es schon sehr unverschämt in den Release Notes zu schreiben das der support für Keyboard und Maus für Pubg zugefügt wurde und der Controller dafür garnicht mehr nutzbar ist. thumbs down. Wenn man dann vor hat die aufgezwungen Game Mapping funktionen zu nutzen gehen auch schon die ersten probleme los. Auf welcher auflösung wurden denn die overlays erstellt ? Man bedenke das es sich hier um eine tv Box handelt und nicht um ein Handy so wie es scheint wurden die mappings aber auf einer Auflösung von 1280x720 erstellt. Und was machen all die Leute mit einer anderen oder höheren Auflösung ?
Der nächste punkt ist das layout. Man ist gezwungen das vorgegebene layout zu benutzen. Was für ein scheiss ist das bitte? Was mit 3rd party apps 1A funktioniert hat wurde durch Oreo update und nvidia game mapping in kompetenter weise gekillt. Klasse Arbeit. Wurde überhaupt mal getestet was die da fabriziert haben ?

finde ich schon krass.
Ich sag nur System_Alert_Window und draw over other apps

Wie so vieles wird auch hier nach und nach alles zerstört was dieses gerät einst so cool gemacht hat.

Bei mir kommt das Update bisher nicht an. Nach einem Neustart kommt zwar der Hinweis, aber wenn ich auf Details gehe, verschwindet es einfach. Bei einer manuellen Suche wird gesagt, dass 7.0.2 die aktuellste Version ist. Vielleicht auch besser, wenn man von den ganzen hdmi cec Problemen liest.

Das gleiche Problem hatte ich auch. Hab dann alle Einstellungen meiner wichtigsten Apps gesichert und einen Werksreset durchgeführt Danach ging das Update in einem Rutsch durch.
Apps wieder installiert und Einstellungen zurückgespielt.

Sowas will ich eigentlich nicht machen. Für mich ist nichts wichtiges im Update drin und habe bisher keine bugs. Von daher warte ich auf die spontane Selbstheilung.

Einen was gemacht? Ein Update? Bin auf Experience Upgrade 7.0. Nur das 7.1 will sich nicht installieren.

Upps, da habe ich beim Editieren wohl das Wort "Werksreset" versehentlich gelöscht gehabt und es hinterher nicht bemerkt.

Aber das hatte ja schon jemand anderes geschrieben, so dass ich das Posting von mir komplett löschen wollte. Das Ergebnis war dann ein sinnloser Satz.
