Hab Beta3 drauf. Keine Probleme mit Warp Charge

    • Newly added Bitmoji AOD, co-designed by Snapchat & Bitmoji, which will liven up the ambient display with your personal Bitmoji avatar.   • Phone
    • Improved the audio experience when the phone is connected with OnePlus watch and OnePlus buds
    • Fixed the issue that the call recording list is not updated in time after the system is upgraded

    • Improved the video preview clarity under 4K 60FPS mode

    • Improved the connection stability with OnePlus Buds

Den Bitmoji Kram hätte ich nicht gebraucht, aber ist ja optional. Hoffentlich hält nicht noch mehr Nippes Einzug in OOS.

Viel los mit dem 8T scheint hier ja nicht zu sein... Klappt das Update den problemlos ohne Wipe bei Oneplus?

Der Umstieg auf die Beta klappt ohne weiteres und total problemlos! 😉
 
Jetzt mal blöd gefragt, weil ich echt nix dazu finde. Prinzipiell ist diese Beta auf Android 11 basierend und quasi die Stable alle 3 Monate nur monatlich?

Also noch keine Vorschau auf Android 12 oder ähnliches.

Ich habe das 8T noch nicht so lange und mal ne Verständnisfrage dazu.
Die Beta 6 ist also aktueller als die normale im Moment offizielle 11.0.8.14?
Und die kann ich ohne Probleme mit dem Oxygenupdater oder manuell auf meinem ungerooteten 8T installieren?

Ich hab mir die Beta in der kleineren Version runtergeladen, allerdings erkennt das Updateprogramm diese nicht wenn ich sie installieren will?! Brauch ich die Full Version? Oder geht die Beta nur mit root? Und gehen mit der Installation der Full Version meine Daten verloren?
Und was noch wichtiger ist, komme ich wieder zurück auf die normale Software ohne Root wenn irgendwas nicht richtig laufen sollte?

Wenn du von der Stable wechselst, dann geht nur die Full Version. Root wird nicht benötigt und deine Daten bleiben unverändert.

Zurück von der Beta zur Stable geht dann nur mit Wipe, also mit dem Löschen der Daten.

Aktualisiert sich das Phone jetzt eigentlich automatisch auf eine dann kommende Stable? Oder muss man zwangsläufig via Full Reset manuell zurück wechseln?

Eigentlich müsste ja auch irgendwann Android 12 als Beta erscheinen, mind. diese Version soll das 8T ja noch bekommen.
 
Nein, gibt einen speziellen Rollback Build. Und mit der Android 12 Beta würde ich nicht vor Ende des Jahres rechnen.
 
Aber die spezielle Rollback Build bedeutet doch trotzdem das ein kompletter Werksreset nötig wird oder?
 
Ja, das ist leider so. Deswegen hatte ich gehofft, dass es sich irgendwann selber aktualisiert bzw. OnePlus doch weiter Betas veröffentlicht.
 
Naja wir sollten es positiv sehen ... Ab und an ist doch eh Mal besser das Phone von Altlasten zu befreien und "frisch" von vorne zu beginnen 😁

Kurze Frage noch dazu: wir brauchen die "EU" Version - Korrekt?

Edit: ich habe jetzt Mal probeweise eine Rollback Build heruntergeladen und die zip Datei in den internen Speicher geschoben - so wie mit den OB's auch schon immer ... Aber die wird so nicht erkannt unter lokalen Upgrade 🤔

Mir ist aufgefallen das die Betas eine *jar Datei sind/waren und die Rollback Build eine normale *zip Datei ist!

Muss ich sie erst entpacken und im neuen Format wieder packen oder reicht's wenn ich die Dateiendung einfach ändere?
