• Download the ROM and place it on your virtual SD card
• Boot your device into recovery mode (Volume Down + Power)
• In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
• Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of ROM zip
• You can use full wipe option in AROMA (optionally if coming from earlier version of OrDroid, obligatory if coming from stock or other custom ROM)

Gut das du es gemacht hast, sonst hätte ich das heute Abend rein geposted.

Ich habe bisher alle ROM´s drauf gehabt und muss sagen diese gefällt mir am besten. Die ROM bringt auch mal eben 100-200 Benchmark-Punkte mehr bei Quadrant Standard Edition im Gegensatz zu den anderen ROM´s.

Zur Akkuleistung kann ich generell nicht viel sagen, weil ich das originale System nicht mal mit einer Ladung betrieben habe und die anderen ROM´s auch nicht, weil es mir auch nicht wichtig ist. Kann aber sagen, dass es im dauernden Betrieb sparsamer ist als mein altes S2 mit Custom ROM.

Wie Nuschi so schön zu mir gesagt hat gibt es bisher keine großen Unterschiede bei den ROM´s sondern kommt es eher drauf an was unter der Haube steckt. Da steckt grundsätzlich schon einmal eine S-Klasse hinter. Und wenn der Programmierer das Handy mal selber hat, wird aus der S-Klasse wahrscheinlich auch schnell ein AMG-Tuning

Werd ich mal ausprobieren, bin momentan noch auf stock. Kleine frage, ich sichere meine Apps mit Titanium Backup, muss ich die Sicherungsdatei auf dem Pc speichern? Bei einem Fullwipe ist diese Datei weg, genauso wie eigene Bilder und Zoe`s, oder?

Ich hatte ja auch lange das ARHD drauf weil Shnizlon paar Probleme hatte. Aber das hier läuft einfach "flutschiger" ohne den Kernel Governor auf "msm-dcvs" umzustellen

Ich hatte ja auch lange das ARHD drauf weil Shnizlon paar Probleme hatte. Aber das hier läuft einfach "flutschiger" ohne den Kernel Governor auf "msm-dcvs" umzustellen

Vergleich aber ruhig selbst, jeder setzt ja da andere Maßstäbe

Am Governor selbst nicht, aber man kann ihn umstellen, mit SetCPU oder NoFrills. Das flüssigste Erlebnis hatte ich mit Ondemand (noop) und noch besser mit msm-dcvs (noop). Läuft dann ganz geschmeidig, selbst die Facebook App ist dann ab und an zu gebrauchen und erhöhten Akkuverbrauch habe ich auch nicht feststellen können

Edit : die Min und Max freqs usw kann man aber noch nicht ändern oder?

Mit SetCPU schon und mit NoFrills sollte das auch gehen. Aber übertackten und Spannung ändern wird erst mit Custom Kernel gehen. Das was der Kernel aber Standartmäßig hergibt, kannst jetzt schon machen. Sprich: Um Strom zu sparen den Kernel die ganze Zeit mit MaxFreq von 800 MHz laufen lassen.

Vergiss es... Mit dem IE funktioniert es...

wenn man updaten möchte, dann lieber nicht im AROMA "update" auswählen, sondern "without wipe".

bei "update" startet das setup einfach, ohne etwas auswählen zu können.. z.b. das 3-dot menü entfernen.

Da ich ja aus der Samsung Galaxy S2 Sparte komme, frage ich mich wie man ohne das 3 dot Menü an manche Optionen kommt? Es gibt ja keine extra Menütaste. Komme ich dann immer nur über die langen Wege zum Ziel oder was

mit dem X-Posed MOD. ist nun ja bei der 2.8.0 integriert (als option)

dann braucht man noch dieses Modul

danach im menü unter anzeige gesten usw. kannste die back-taste neu konfigurieren.. long-press=menü taste
