Noch mal zu den QERTY -Optionen.
Soweit ich verstehe, sind diese Möglichkeiten ausschließlich mit der Beta möglich...
Gibt es Hinweise, das es auch offiziell ausgerollt wird?

Ich warte schon sehnsüchtig drauf... Gibt es denn von euch jemand, der bereut, die Beta aufgrund von Fehlern oder Bugs zu nutzen?

Ich habe mir von asgoodasnew eine Fenix 8 AMOLED Saphirglas Titan/titanium (Zustand sehr gut) gekauft und bin soweit nach den paar Studen die sie bei mir ist auch sehr zufrieden damit, allerdings (und das ist der Grund warum ich hier im Thread frage) hatte der/die Vorbesitzer/in wohl das Beta-OS auf der Uhr installiert und ich würde das ganz gerne erst einmal los werden.
Mein Versuch, die Uhr in Connect+ von der Beta abzumelden und dann einfach per Suchen nach Update das Release-OS herunterladen zu können, ist leider gescheitert und die Beta ist weiterhin auf der Uhr. Auch ein Reset der Uhr hat mich nicht von der Beta weg gebracht.
Hat hier vielleicht jemand einen Tipp für mich wie ich die Beta los werde?
 
Leider musst du warten bis die nächste finale Version der Software verfügbar ist.
Die könnte aber demnächst erscheinen.

Die Beta-Software bleibt solange auf der Garmin Watch, bis die nächste finale Version der Software verfügbar ist.
Sobald die Software auf die finale Version aktualisiert ist, erhält Ihr Gerät keine Beta-Software-Updates mehr.

Danke für die Antwort. Installiert war die Beta 15.22 und heute wurde auf 15.23 geupdatet. Ich habe aber gerade herausgefunden, dass es eine Backdate-Software von Garmin für genau diesen Fall gibt. Das setzt mir dann zwar die Fenix 8 auf Werkseinstellungen mit der letzten Releaseversion zurück, aber das ist nicht tragisch, da ich noch nicht viel eingestellt/verändert habe.
Im Anleitungstext zum Backdate steht allerdings, ich solle eine Datei namens "force.tmp" (im Backdate.ZIP enthalten) in den "GARMIN"-Ordner kopieren, habe jedoch keine Ahnung, wo ich diesen GARMIN-Ordner wohl finde - auf der Uhr?
Vielleicht hat ja dazu jemand einen Tipp?
Ich werde das allerdings dann erst morgen angehen.

Lösung: Habe es herausgefunden, die Dateien werden in den Ordner "Garmin" im Speicher der Uhr kopiert, während die Uhr mit PC und Gamin Express verbunden ist. Nach dem entfernen des Datenkabels von der Uhr, findet die Uhr dann die Dateien und macht den Backdate, nebst Werksreset. (läuft gerade noch hier)

Bei mir wurde gerade die 15.29 Beta (per Garmin Express am PC) gefunden, nebst Kartenupdate und wird aktuell installiert.

Nach Beendigung des Updates auf 15.29, zeigte die Fenix 8 dann gleich noch ein vorhandenes Update auf 15.31 an, welches nun OTA geladen wurde und gerade installiert wird.
Dieses Update wird in den Announcements im Garmin Forum (noch) gar nicht gezeigt.

in der Beta Version 15.31
stehen nun die Funktionen: EKG, Dive und Aviation wieder zur Verfügung.
D.h. es ist zu erwarten, dass die Versionen zeitnah zu Live-Updates werden.

War EKG zwischendurch deaktiviert?

Nur in den Beta - Versionen werden die EKG und Dive Funktionen deaktiviert.
Erst gegen Ende der ca. vierteljährlichen Beta-Zyklen werden diese Funktionen wieder aktiviert, also kurz bevor die Beta- zu Live-Software Updates werden.
 
Irgendwie bin ich abgehängt...
Das sind doch hier alles Beta-Versionen...
War EKG in der 29er deaktiviert und ist jetzt in der 31er wieder aktiv?

Ich habe es in der .29 nicht testen können, da die .31 gleich nach dem Hochfahren der installierten .29 OTA installiert wurde.
In der .27 war es definitiv noch deaktiviert!

Hat hier schon jemand die neue Version 15.31 auf seiner Fenix 8 installiert?
Laut dem Garmin Forum soll es ja einige Probleme damit geben, z. B. schlechtere Performance nach dem Update :confused2:
