:: Über die Rom.
Die Carbon Rom, die für viele verschiedene Geräte entwickelt wird, zeichnet sich einerseits durch hohe Stabilität, andererseits durch vielfältige Einstellungsmöglichkeiten mit vielen zusätzlichen Features aus (im Vergleich zu Stock Android Roms). Hierbei wird darauf geachtet, dass regelmäßig Updates erscheinen, die stets die aktuellste Hardware unterstützen. >> CarbonDev GitHub

Danke fürs Einstellen!
Interessant wären aber schon auch eigene Erfahrungen, gibt es die?
(ich muss auf mein N5 leider noch etwas warten)
 
Gerade geflasht, bisher alles gut. Nach dem ersten Flashen und der Eingabe meiner PIN für die SIM-Karte stand ziemlich lange "SIM-Karte wird entsperrt" (ich glaube aber auf englisch) aber es tat sich nix. Habe dann neu gestartet und dann ging es auch. Beim Einrichtungsassistenten kam dann folgende Fehlermeldung:


Soweit läuft alles flüssig. Allerdings bekomme ich kein Root mehr. Seltsam. Ging mir eben mit SlimKat auch schon so. Kann es daran liegen, dass ich eben unter SlimKat den Franco Kernel geflasht habe?

Edit: Habe die SuperSU.zip von HIER im Recovery geflasht - jetzt geht's. :thumbsup:

Es ist ein Segen wenn Pico nicht funktioniert, hört sich fürchterlich an :D

Ja, genau so habe ich es gerade gemacht (habe meinen Beitrag oben editiert).

bestes ROM auf dem s3 gewesen...und ich hoffe das auch schnell active display dazu kommt :)
 
Vergesst aber nicht, dass es sich hier um ein sehr frühes und dazu noch inoffizielles Build handelt.
 
Das Problem mit dem fehlenden Root nach dem flashen des Franco-Kernels auf der Slim wird auf XDA mehrfach diskutiert...aber Du hast die Lösung mit dem manuellen flashen von SuperSU ja schnell gefunden :)

by the way: Rom immer noch Stock. Ich warte auf die QuickSettings in der Slim ;-)
 
Bei mir hat sich die Systemsprache mittlerweile selbständig auf englisch umgestellt. :D Über den Tag lief die Rom aber gut.
